Reading books has become widely accessible to large multitudes. However, the percentage of people who read regularly continues to drop each year. The Reader table encourages people to display their reading habits. It allows the user to not only keep their unfinished book page but also to display its decorative cover.
When the iron bar structure was designed, a hole in the middle would be filled with weld to secure the book plinth in place. It was then grinded down, making it invisible with a panel of glass resting on the metal structure.
